Jekyll Island is a 5500-acre barrier island with unique history and characteristics. This state park is situated on the southern coast of Georgia and is home to one of the most popular historical tourist destinations in the state.

Prospect14 came to us with a need for some exploration into available lands that would be suitable for development of solar farms. They wanted to find parcels in the state of Pennsylvania that met requirements that came about through years of experience in the industry.

The City of Portland, OR is predicted to grow by almost 300,00 people in the next 30 years, a 33% increase in population. If the people of Portland wanted to host the Summer Olympics in 2048, what decisions could they make now that will make them a viable candidate by that time? This project looked at how the geodesign framework could be utilized to help make this plan a reality. Our team used a variety of geospatial tools and technologies to tackle this complex issue.

In this project we were tasked with looking into alternative future development scenarios for the Lake Tahoe Basin. Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America and brings thousands of visitors and tourists every year to recreate, whether it be swimming in the lake or skiing in the mountains. The area is also surrounded by pristine wilderness areas that are protected for their natural beauty. With limited available land, how can the regional planners in this area determine how the basin grows and give priority to those that need it?
